It’s a perfect blend of hard work dedication by creating a unique village typology that serves the ultimate aim of creating a true eco wildlife conscious project,uniting conservation,communities and sustainable tourism. With vision of Neeraj Pathania who tried to build the whole place as wild and natural not an easy task but as his dream project he and his team tried to develop a world class place following the soft pug marks of the tiger. Youth been picked & trained by Neeraj and now they are handling the Atulya Kanchi Camp non less then any top hotel staff they always serve with smile and happiness.
The design was purely all ancient methods that served to unify and balance wildlife and nature within and around the entire resort one can feel the spirit of the place. The contemporary modest architecture and interiors blends effortlessly with the Jungle.
The Private Banglow Accomodation
The Private Banglows lay out along an alliance that blends with the peaceful open agriculture land surrounded by all forest and Sal trees -birds, jackals, black face Monkey. The Banglows have been planned with utmost care without spoiling the mood of nature – all banglows with traditional look as the traditional tribal village houses. First time somewhere in the world perfect blend of our experience and tradition used together to develop the banglows and the roof of all the banglows has Four layers the first layer thatch the second layer bamboo raft and wood blocks the third Layer is of Canvas the last layer is fine cotton liner. By this way when temperature hot outside you feel cooler inside your “Jhopri” (Banglow Room) when temperature cold outside of room then you feel warmer inside. This way we tried to make best use of Mother Nature adopting eco friendly methods. Banglows has huge space inside /outside gives a privacy and peace, all wooden flooring. Bath with shower, Bath tab and toilets en suit butseparated to be used at same time. The natural scenery has been incorporated with the design, giving it an open feel. Nature has been brought into the interiors. Garden chair placed in front of the banglows for perfect view encountering birds & other wildlife. Now upgraded with the same
theam and ethics.
The Theme and ethics
The basis for color has been khaki as the resort is situated within a jungle and wildlife around. The connecting walkways, the detailing of lighting in harmony with the hundred percent natural plantations all come together. You might encounter or see Jackals are prefer to walk on this paths along with you this is an achievement how comfortable wildlife with our setup.
The Nature and mankind
To give a natural feel, most materials have been procured from
thelocal villages as money goes within community.
The highlight is the Khaki /Red stone color on all the walls even our kitchen staff quarters all similar color that is our code of jungle. All interior walls of the Private Banglows are of waste of marble (paste) no plaster or other comical treaded color used. Villagers were involved to develop the Bagh Sarai nown know as Atulya Kanchi Camp to final shape employment and generated income to the locals.

The commitment
We have not cut any trees to obtain the wood. All used woodbought from Govt depot on auction and some of fallen and dead trees used. Roof structures of banglows are of wooden & bamboo raft made by the local tribes. All Hand made materials have been used namely in the lighting shades in the restaurant and lobby along with Banglows.

The Mohini:
We have a small tribal shop with all hand made and excellent stuff for souvenir must visit to see the selection and what ever you buy that is on no profit no loss basically run by our tribal staff and profit goes to them as family welfare.

The responsibility
At the time of construction work commenced local involvement was hundred percent and we start picking up some of the young talents a young boy working as labour now a proud supervisor of previously known as Bagh Sarai Resort like him we have all other staff trained and employed from the local village now named after our Elephant Kanchi Atulya Kanchi Camp is taking care of the welfare of at least six house in the village. Now all of our staff is enjoying a respectful job with earning to give a new shape to their family. Now their houses with help of Atulya Kanchi Camp is in dream shape of living desired no worry in monsoon.
As per our commitment we helped in poor girls marriages in village. We do not want to say much and does not want to gain any mileage. Just creating and developing confidence and relation with all locals to believe in our commitment towards community. We are almost set to provide scholarship to the girls & boys belongs to very poor family and can’t afford higher studies to encourage them.
One of our staff has just appeared for 12th standard exams we always encourage them for education and support is always their as incentive to take leave for studies and expenses for studies. Atulya Kanchi Camp already kept a separate land initially going to be donated to the village council for developing a first classdispensary with life saving equipments since nearest hospital is 25 kmrs. Soon will try our best to initiate.

Remember our staff they are still learning so please do not look at their mistakes or incapability of not understanding properly treat them with your support to guidance. Always speak with slow pitch which gives them enough time to understand batter. When they understand you always feel batter.
They are tribals with very sharp mind to learn the things very quickly but only with love and affection.
